I’ve been trying out different eyeshadow colours these days and I’ve been loving them. Hence the saying I came across recently “life is just too short for boring colours”.
Here are some of the colourful looks I did!
This look is still one of my favourites. I created this look with copper glitters and the bhcosmetics eyeshadow palette. I’ve always loved this lip shade but since I couldn’t get my hands on it, I decided to improvise. Yes it’s not a lippy, it’s a liner from Erre due. I just saw the colour at the Erre Due stand at a beauty gallery and I just had to pick the shade with other great colours too. With this look I had to be extra with the highlight, lol. For the highlight I used “Mac mineralize skinfinish- soft and gentle, you can get it at any MAC store, and the dabota cosmetics- high beam, you can follow @dabota_cosmetics or you can order on their site “www.dabotacosmetics.com”.
With the next look, I went for purple which was inspired by my sister! She just wanted a purple look, and I’m happy I did it.
Purple hues! Still in love with this look! Never knew purple could look this good on me. I complimented the purple eyes with pink ombré lips. I used the morphe brushes 35U palette with Inglot pigment to achieve this look. On the lips I used Mac lip pencil “candyyumyum” X Mac lippy in “steady going”. Love slaying my wing liner with the Inglot 77 liner!. I also made use of the ABH (Anastasia Beverly Hills) glowkit for this look, although I don’t use it a lot cause I love my highlight metro booming ! but it worked.
The third look, I used blue and plum to achieve this look with a touch of Mac’s relentlessly red on the lips. I used the beelashes in 605.
These looks might seem too colourful for some people but to me it worked. Regardless of the fact that I don’t use colours on my eyes.
With this next look, I went for a silver smokey look with a touch of teal in the inner corner of my eyes to open it. Used morphebrushes 35U palette (which I got from @wholesalebeautyhub) to achieve the look. Then I opted for a nude lip. For the lips I used Mac’s lip pencil in chestnut X Mac lippy “myth”.
