My Plum Orange Wine (P.O.W.) Fall Inspired Look!

My Plum Orange Wine (P.O.W.) Fall Inspired Look!

Hi Everyone!!!

I’m loving this season more, well mainly because of some of its makeup trends. We all know that Autumn is the period of vampy dark shades, smokey eyes, dramatic wing liners, warm/copper eyeshadows.

Once you think of fall you think of plum, wine, taupé (brownish grey/chocolate/brown), gold shimmers on the eyes, and some neutral colors.

I’ve definitely been using a lot of plum for most of my looks whether it’s on my lips or my eyes.

While doing this look, I wanted to try using some of my favourite fall colors to create this P.O.W (plum, orange, wine) beautiful eye makeup. For the lips, I wanted to go for a Pantone color, so I went for a dusty pink shade with a brown lip pencil.

For the eyes, I wanted to conjoin these three shades “Plum, Orange, Wine(P.O.W)” to create this well blended eyeshadow. I also highlighted my browbone with highlighter which I seldomly do. I still think these colours are beautiful when perfectly blended. I paired the eyes with  a kitten flick eyeliner and I used a white liner for my waterline.

I just wanted a glowy bronzy skinfinish, with a natural looking blush so I opted for Mac Love Joy blush which is a warm mid- tone brown with a subtle reddish tone and gold shimmer blush.

Since there was a lot going on with my eyes, I wanted a subtle lip color that wouldn’t overpower the eyes. Hence, my dusty pink X chocolate brown shade lipcolor.

Here are some of the products I used to achieve this look:

Eyes-

MorpheBrushes eyeshadow palette X Sleek bad girl palette (perfect plum shade) X Inglot 77 eyeliner X Nyx jumbo pencil “milk” X Beelashes “700”.

Skin-

I used Revlon colorstay foundation “400 caramel” X Nars radiant creamy concealer “biscuit” X Mac mineralise skinfinish in “dark X medium golden X dark deep- to contour” X Mac love joy blush X Dabota mineral icing “hi beam” X Abh glow kit” X Mac fix+.

Finally for the Lips-

Mac chestnut lip pencil X Pink Plaid Inglot pigment “111”.

There you have it! I hope you guys like this fall inspired post. If yes, comment below and if there are other questions, or anything you’d like to share, kindly do.

Hugs and kisses,

DASK Beauty.
